CARPINTEIRÍA LORBÉ
José Manuel Gómez Porto, holder of Carpinteiría Lorbé, has a professional experience of more than 30 years as a wooden shipbuilder, in Sada and A Coruña.
In 2002, he decided to establish itself as autonomous and founded the only wooden shipbuilding of Oleiros (A Coruña).
Located in the port of Lorbé, the shipyard has a covered industrial unit of about 100 m2, service of dry docks and two workers who provide service to numerous boats in the area. Throughout his long professional life, José Manuel Gómez Puerto built all types of boats, specially fishing boats of up to 23 meters in length, yachts and various types of boats, all in wood and with traditional methods.
Today, its activity is based on the construction of boats up to 15 or 20 meters in length, for both fishing and leasure and in the repair and maintenance of all types of wooden boats, including stranding and installation of engines.
