On the occasion of the signing of the agreement between the Consellería do Mar and Agalcari for this year 2021, the Conselleira do Mar, Rosa Quintana, and the Directora Xeral de Desenvolvemento Pesqueiro, Susana Rodríguez, visited the shipyard of the president of Agalcari, Ramón Collazo.
During this visit, in which they were accompanied by the mayors of Rianxo and Boiro, by representatives of various local entities and other members of Agalcari, the Conselleira reiterated the support of its counsel to the traditional shipyard industrie, both for the recovery of this artisanal activity, as well as to achieve the objectives for which Agalcari has been fighting for years, among which it is worth highlighting the establishment of regulated training so that the shipyards can have qualified personnel and the updating of the regulations at the state level for wooden boats, putting these boats on an equal footing with those made of other materials.
